Its structure consists of a base, a shrapnel, and a key cap, with all components working together to ensure stable operation. The base, as the basic support, is usually made of high-temperature resistant plastic material, which can adapt to temperature changes when electronic devices are working; the shrapnel is mostly made of copper alloy, which has good conductivity and elasticity, ensuring the sensitivity of circuit on-off; the key cap can be made of materials such as ABS or silicone, which affects the tactile feel when pressed. Special models achieve IP67 waterproof rating through silicone sealing rings, which can cope with humid environments such as kitchens and bathrooms, and can work normally even when splashed with water.
